The 22nd General Assembly and Seminar-Workshop on “Enhancing Library Services in the Technological Environment” held at Notre Dame of Marbel University concluded last October 29, 2008. The two-day activities were graced by speakers from Davao and Manila in the person of Dr. Briccio Merced, Director of Libraries of University of the Philippines, Mindanao and Ms. Melody Remorca, an international storyteller. They shared their expertise on Reference Service Guidelines and Web 2.0 and Storytelling and Techniques, respectively. Ms. Annabelle Acedera, Director of Libraries of Xavier University in Cagayan de Oro City was also an invited speaker. On her behalf, Ms. Jenny Laglagaron and Ms. Marissa Montaño delivered her topic on MARC.

The seminar-workshop was attended by 56 participants who came from SOCSKSARGEN area. A new set of officers was also elected for Fiscal Year 2008-2009. They are the following:
